If you have known Dr. Johnson for any length of time, you know that she has the chronic condition of obesity. And that obesity runs in Dr. Johnson’s family. Dr. Johnson tried a lot of programs with short-term success because most programs are not personalized or sustainable over the long-haul. Most programs are not physician directed and lack the ability to take care of the patient as a whole.
My Dr Johnson, PLLC is the clinic that Dr. Johnson wished existed when she needed to lose weight & maintain weight loss. A place where her story mattered. A place that used science & evidence, not generic diet plans or supplements to support patients. A place that allowed for privacy, listening, & encouragement.

Dr. Johnson has worked for healthcare systems big & small. She has even worked for insurance companies. The model that Dr. Johnson believes works the best for weight loss & wellness doesn’t fit well with insurance. Dr. Johnson is a doctor but also a health coach & cheerleader which aren’t reimbursable services under insurance!
My Dr Johnson, PLLC is intentionally small. Dr. Johnson's passion is serving a small number of patients with personalized care in a safe and private setting.
Dr. Johnson’s patients are seen routinely in clinic or via telemedicine. Patients also have access to messaging & apps to increase accountability as patients tackle their goals. The goal at My Dr Johnson, PLLC is sustainable life-long change.

A consult takes 60-90 minutes. You will have time to tell your story. Dr. Johnson will complete a comprehensive history & physical exam. Together, you & Dr. Johnson will create a personalized program that is right for you.

My Dr Johnson, PLLC is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance for clinic visits. You pay for Dr. Johnson's time and expertise — no surprises, no hidden fees.
New Patients New patients begin with an initial consultation ($400). This is a 60-90 minute visit where you will have time to share your story, complete a comprehensive history and physical exam, and work with Dr. Johnson to build a personalized plan.

Established Patients
Follow-Up Appointment — $200 For patients actively working toward a goal. Dr. Johnson recommends monthly visits while you are in the achieving phase.
Check-In Appointment — $100 For patients who have reached their goal and are in maintenance. A quick visit to make sure you have everything you need to stay on track.
Annual Wellness Visit — $300 For patients with Dr. Johnson for one year or more. A comprehensive review of your goals, health history, and anything new in obesity medicine worth discussing.
Physician Coaching — No Medication Management — $125/month For patients who prefer a non-medication path. Includes one 30-minute visit per month plus weekly check-ins through the patient portal.
There is never pressure to schedule. Come when you are ready. Pause when you need to. Dr. Johnson will be here.

Compounded Medications Compounded GLP-1 medications are available at My Dr Johnson, PLLC. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy and customized for the individual patient — for reasons such as a different titration schedule or tolerance issues. Please note that compounded medications are not FDA approved for safety or efficacy. Medication is mailed directly to your home for convenience. Pricing is listed on the Services & Pricing page.
Name-Brand Medications Name-brand GLP-1 medications are also available and FDA approved for safety and efficacy. Cash-pay pricing is available through manufacturer direct programs — Dr. Johnson will help you navigate your options and can assist with prior authorizations. Pricing is listed on the Services & Pricing page and is updated regularly as prices change.
Specialized Testing Dr. Johnson offers advanced testing including My Phenome phenotype testing, Genomic MD polygenic risk assessment, and Uncovering Rare Obesity testing. Tests are priced at cost plus a small processing fee — no profit markup. You pay for Dr. Johnson's expertise in ordering and interpreting your results. Let’s be honest. Dr. Johnson loves protein shakes because they are a great weight loss tool. But that doesn’t mean that you need to love protein shakes, too.
Yes, My Dr Johnson, PLLC sells protein shakes & a few other retail items. Anybody can buy products, not just patients of My Dr. Johnson, PLLC. But there is never any pressure. Dr. Johnson stocks the products she personally uses & believes in!
Dr. Johnson personally used the HMR program for weight loss & continues to use their products on a daily basis. HMR products are high quality and commonly sold at obesity medicine clinics. HMR excels at helping patients with behavioral change by encouraging portion control as well as fruit & veggie intake so that you can live a long & healthy life.
